Park Empire Introduction

Park Empire is an idle theme park game where you take over a small amusement park and slowly turn it into a place packed with visitors. At the start, there isn't much to manage. A few rides are enough to bring in your first bit of cash, and that money becomes the key to everything that comes next.

The nice part is watching the park change. One upgrade leads to another, more visitors show up, and suddenly a quiet little park starts feeling like a real business.

Getting Started

The controls are about as simple as the game gets.

  • PC: Click to select rides and buy upgrades.

  • Camera: Click and drag to look around.

  • Zoom: Use the mouse wheel to change your view.

  • Mobile: Tap the screen to select and upgrade things.

  • Camera on mobile: Swipe across the screen.

You don't need to learn a long list of keys. The real challenge is deciding where your money should go.

What to Upgrade First

Early on, attractions such as the Shooting Gallery and Ferris Wheel give you a place to start. Keep an eye on which rides are getting attention from visitors and put spare cash there instead of upgrading everything at once.

The park eventually needs more than rides, though. As the crowd increases, the parking spaces become useful, because more guests can get to the entrance. Ticket booths help busy entrances. Security guards become important as the park grows.

There are also food stalls, souvenir shops, bigger attractions, and eventually the Roller Coaster and Water Park. Advertising can bring in a sudden wave of visitors, but it makes more sense to use it when your park has enough room and attractions to handle them.

When Prestige Makes Sense

Prestige is the game's reset system. Golden Tickets may grant permanent bonuses in future parks, but you lose your current progress.

It can be weird starting again after you've spent time building everything up. But once upgrades become expensive and progress slows down, starting another run with permanent income boosts can make the next expansion much quicker.

Managers help too. They can look after individual rides and keep money coming in while you concentrate on other parts of the park.

A Few Things Worth Remembering

  • Upgrade busy rides before chasing every new attraction.

  • Don't forget about parking when visitor numbers climb.

  • Instead of just adding another ride, address the bottlenecks at the entrance.

  • Use advertising when your park can handle the extra crowd.

  • Shops can add another source of income as the park expands.

  • Don't hit Prestige too early. Get some useful progress from the current run first.

  • Zoom out now and then. A crowded park can make small problems surprisingly easy to miss.
