Start Your First PokéBonk Adventure

PokéBonk throws a Kanto Pokémon into a 3D arena and lets the trouble build from there. Released in October 2026, this HTML5 survival RPG includes the original 151 Pokémon and can be played on desktop, phone, or tablet.

There is a little Megabonk DNA in the idea. Attacks fire on their own, so there is no need to mash an attack key. Most of the work is movement: finding space, picking up XP, and staying out of a bad corner.

A Level Up Is Not Always an Easy Choice

Defeated Pokémon leave experience behind. Grab enough and an upgrade appears. Taking whatever looks strongest can work early, but it can also leave a run with several attacks that do not help each other.

Evolution happens inside the run too. It can give a Pokémon better attacks and abilities just when the arena starts getting crowded.

What Helps Early

A few habits made the opening waves much easier to handle:

  • Space: Fight near open ground. Walls can turn a small mob into a trap.

  • XP: Do not leave every orb behind while running away.

  • Slide: Keep it ready for tight gaps rather than using it for no reason.

  • Camera: Look around often. Trouble can build off-screen.

  • Ultimate: Hold it until there is actually something worth clearing.

Later on, staying alive is less about chasing enemies and more about choosing where to move next.

More Pokémon, More Ways to Play

Challenges unlock more of the Kanto roster. Each unlocked Pokémon can take the next run in a new direction. A new Pokémon may favor another upgrade path or make an old strategy less useful.
