Rocket Ball takes the idea of soccer and puts you behind the wheel instead of giving you a pair of football boots. You control a small rocket-powered car, chase a giant ball around the arena, and try to knock it past the other side's goal. The action gets messy pretty quickly. A missed hit can send the ball toward your own net, while a lucky bounce off the wall can suddenly give you a clear shot. Matches are short, and the game supports 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles, so you can play alone or get into a team match when you want more chaos.
Start Playing
Get your car behind the ball before trying to hit it hard.
Use Nitro when the ball is getting away, or you need to get back quickly.
Jump when a high ball gives you a chance to make an aerial hit.
Don't stay glued to the ball. Check where the next bounce could send it.
1v1 matches are useful when you want to practice driving and accurate hits.
In 2v2 and 3v3, let your teammates chase the attack while you cover the open space.
Keep checking your goal before rushing forward.
When the clock runs out, the team with more goals wins the match.
The Little Things Matter
At first, Rocket Ball can feel like nothing more than driving into a big ball. After a few matches, that changes. The way you approach the ball matters. Hitting it from the wrong angle may send it somewhere you never intended.
Boost is another thing you'll notice quickly. It feels tempting to hold it whenever you have it, but doing so can leave you with no way to catch an opponent's shot. Saving a little Nitro for the right moment is often more useful than constantly driving at full speed.
Wall bounces are worth learning too. The ball can come back from an awkward angle, and being ready for that rebound can give you an easy chance while another player is still turning around.
Tips Before Your Next Match
Don't waste Nitro just to reach a ball that isn't dangerous.
Approach the ball from an angle when you want to control its direction.
Use a jump to meet high shots instead of waiting for them to drop.
If you're the last defender, think twice before charging into the attack.
After missing a shot, turn back toward your goal instead of chasing the ball again.
In team matches, leave some space between players so one rebound doesn't beat everyone.
Learn the corners of the arena. They can produce strange but useful rebounds.
When the ball is bouncing everywhere, staying in a good position is usually better than making another wild hit.
