Brush Jjaemu – A cat grooming game that's anything but "gentle."

At first glance, Brush Jjaemu seems quite simple: a cat, a brush, that's it. No complicated menus, no lengthy instructions. Just jump in and play.

But after a few tries, you'll understand. This isn't a normal grooming game. It's more like you're doing something… and you have to wait for someone else to turn away before you dare continue.

Here, "someone else" is the cat.

Gameplay – Simple yet annoying (in an interesting way)

You hold the mouse to brush. Release to stop. That's the rule.

But the difficulty lies in this:

The cat doesn't stay still. It turns its head unexpectedly.

Sometimes it turns around right after you start brushing. Sometimes it turns around even after you've been brushing for quite a while, thinking it's safe.

There are no clear rules. You'll get used to the rhythm after a few tries, but you can't be 100% sure.

Controls

Nothing complicated:

  • Holding the mouse: grooming
  • Slight movement: for effect
  • Releasing the mouse: stopping immediately

That's it. But holding it for a long time isn't easy.

Playing for a while will reveal a few things

Not some fancy tricks, just experience:

  • Don't try to hold the mouse continuously for too long
  • Break it into short bursts
  • Look at the cat's ears and eyes more than the progress bar
  • When you see "something's wrong," just release it first

In general, playing it safe means you'll last longer.

Why does this game keep players engaged?

Not because of the beautiful graphics or the large amount of content.

Because:

  • Losing quickly → no wasted time
  • Each time you play, it feels different
  • There's always that "almost there" feeling

The more you play, the more you want to break the old record

This type of game is great for playing in your free time, but it can easily last longer than expected.

In summary:

Brush Jjaemu is a very simple game, but it's not boring if you try it. Just holding and releasing the mouse at the right time creates just the right amount of suspense.

No long-term investment is needed, no extensive learning is required. But to play well, you still need to concentrate.
