Hexbound – Don't Let the Demons Surround You
As soon as you enter a level, stay alert. Monsters can appear unexpectedly, paths branch off in multiple directions, and some doors cannot be opened immediately. Hexbound doesn't force you to stand still while shooting; constant movement is practically mandatory.
Levels can hide plenty of secrets
There are 60 levels spread across 5 worlds. Beyond the main path, maps feature colored keys, locked doors, and secret rooms. Some rewards are easily overlooked, so it pays to check walls and hidden corners.

Don't rely solely on your gun
Hexbound offers 38 different weapons. Guns can be upgraded in various ways, meaning every player's loadout can be unique.
When monsters swarm in large groups, the 8 elemental spells come into play. A well-timed freeze spell can hold them back for a few seconds—just enough time to switch weapons or retreat to a safer position.
How do you power up your character?
Experience gained during gameplay is used for character progression. There are 4 stats and 12 perks to choose from. You can customize your build—whether you want to focus on speed, durability, or magic.
Make sure to visit the Workshop after each chapter. It’s the perfect time to review your weapons and choose new upgrades before moving forward.
Tips for tackling difficult levels
- Don't burn through all your mana just to take out a few weak monsters.
- Look for hidden rooms before leaving an area.
- Prioritize upgrading health and ammo capacity if you find yourself getting defeated often.
- Save your powerful spells for waves of enemies.
- Check your weapons and resources before facing a boss.
