Obby Roads is an obstacle-course game with straightforward gameplay. Your character runs along a path filled with platforms, gaps, and obstacles. It looks simple, but the further you go, the easier it is to make a mistake if your timing is off.
On a PC, you can use WASD or the arrow keys to move your character. The Space bar is used to jump over gaps and obstacles.
The early sections are usually quite open, making it relatively easy to run. Later on, the platforms are spaced further apart; some sections require building up momentum, while others demand short, precise jumps.
Don't wait until you're right at the edge to jump. Spotting your landing zone beforehand makes timing much easier. Once you get a feel for the distances, you can pick up speed without stopping too often.
You might make it almost to the end of a level only to slip up at the very last moment. This is quite common in "obby" games. Each failure helps you memorize obstacle locations and realize whether you jumped too early or too late.
Subsequent attempts are usually easier.
Scan the path ahead before speeding up.
Aim for the center of small platforms before jumping.
Don't try to clear multiple obstacles at once if you're still getting the hang of it.
Remember the spots where you fell.
Once you know the course, try running faster.
Obby Roads doesn't require complex controls. You simply run, adjust your direction, and jump at the right moment. The challenge lies in maintaining a steady rhythm as the path changes. If you enjoy obbies, parkour, and obstacle course games, this is a great title to jump into for a quick session and see how far you can get.
